Life never seems to slow down! I can’t believe it is already Easter. In two months the kids will be out of school again for summer. Can yall believe Travis will be a freshman and Isabel will be in Junior High? They grow so fast! Right now Travis is playing tennis and consternating on band. He told me last week that he did not want to play football next year. We shall see if that sticks he said the same thing this past summer as well. But as of right now he wants to concentrate on golf, band and tennis next year…Isabel is back in gymnastics, she took a 2 month break to focus on TAKS tutorials. We got her TAKS Test results this week and she did very well. She made a 90% in Reading. She has not taken Science and Math yet. Travis also did well on his tests but I don’t remember off hand what he told me he made. Anthony is reading up a storm and Jonathon’s speech is coming along well.
I just submitted my last art assignment for this semester. So far I have an 97+ but this last art assignment is worth 70 points and my Artist Statement which I have yet to write is worth 30. So we shall see what I end up with as my final grade… The semester officially ends tomorrow, and my next class does not start until the 6th. I am ready for the break even if it is a short one! Work has been going well. We are moving to 3 services on Easter Sunday, so there has been lots of extra work the last two week and probably lots more to come. All of our signage is changing so lots and lots of print work….
Joe is doing well he is still working for Verizon in the call center. His supervisor has been talking to him the last couple of days about going to a supervisor position. We will see if it happens, Joe said he would but only if he can stay on nights. I am surprised at how well working nights has worked out for him. Sometimes he does not get enough sleep, but for the most part he does ok. When he gets super tired I force him to bed and take all the kids to do something for a few hours so he can catch up. It works out well.
